A child-size rubboard for hands-on Zydeco rhythm

Start a new player on the sound and feel of a Louisiana frottoir. Designed by Tee Don, this small handmade rubboard has a ribbed 24-gauge stainless steel playing surface in a more compact size than a standard adult board. Its bright, tactile rhythm makes it a fun instrument for practice, lessons, or playing along at a family jam.

Details

  • Handmade small/child-size Zydeco rubboard
  • 24-gauge stainless steel construction
  • Variant lists an 11 × 13½ inch size and ribs spaced ½ inch apart

A rubboard is worn on the chest and played with scrapers to create the driving pulse of Zydeco. This smaller version gives young players and anyone who prefers a compact board a way to join in. Review the listed size before ordering to make sure it fits your player.
