The Women's Pro/Custom Washboard is made from the highest quality stainless steel.
29 Hand bent ribs for that one of a kind Key of Z Rubboard resonate sound!
16 Dimples are embossed into the board for enhanced sound and looks.
Playing surface for this product is: 18 1/2 inches long by 12 X 8 inches wide at the smallest point.
Each Key of Z Rubboard is Dated,Signed, and Numbered.
Specially designed for the pop singer Rihanna.
These rubboards can also be seen on her brand new DVD Live.
My Rubboards are made the old fashioned way,the way we have been doing it since 1946, by rubbing the edges with a finishing stone.Then I buff out the edges with scuffing pads for a nice clean smooth edge.
Key of Z Rubboards AKA , Washboards,Frottoir,scrubboard, are the original makers of the washboard as we know them today, Tee Don is the son of Willie Landry who designed and created the first over the shoulder Frottoir for Clifton & Cleveland Chenier in 1946 in Port Arthur ,Texas. Key of Z rubboards are also in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and many other museums around the world. Key of Z Rubboads have been made for many artist such as , ZZ Top, Kid Rock, Rihanna, and many many others. Every Rubboard is hand custom made by me, Tee Don

Wonderful item as promised

I received my rub board yesterday—a long wait, but it’s a long journey to New Zealand, plus covid etc. I loved that it was packed in USA Today newspaper—great recycling! The board is beautifully made, numbered and signed by Tee Don, just as good as I hoped and crazy loud as it should be! I’ll need some practice and a few tiny adjustments to the way it hangs, plus I’ll get some thimbles for more variety of sounds and styles for sure. One question: should I buff it with just a soft cloth, or is there any kind of steel cleaner/protector you’d recommend to keep it pretty? Thanks Tee Don, I love my rub board :)

I’m glad you like it and it made its long journey okay. Thank you for the great review as well. Go to a hardware store and get some Stainless Steel cleaner, spray it on and wipe it off from side to side going with the grain on the board. Thanks again! Tee Don
